WHO WE ARE...

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT...

MEMBERSHIP:

To become a member…

1.) We assume you believe the same things listed in this brochure and have made a commitment to Jesus. We also assume that you will "uphold this congregation with your prayers, your presence, your gifts, and your service"
2.) In a first time commitment to Jesus, we would administer baptism and receive you by "Profession of Faith.”
3.) You may make a "Renewal of Faith" if you have been a member of a Christian church before and have been previously baptised.
4.) You may transfer membership from another United Methodist Church or another denomination.
5.) You may choose to become an "Affiliate Member" and retain your primary membership elsewhere.

Or, you may choose to attend and be involved in our church without formal membership. If so, you will be classified as a "Constituent" of our church and we welcome you heartily.

INVOLVEMENT

Shiloh considers itself to be a "seeker-sensitive" fellowship. This means that persons who come here will be at different points on their faith journey. We welcome that. As a matter of fact, our current membership is around 250, while our current worship attendance is nearing 400.

We do offer a course called “Vital Christianity” 2 to 3 times a year for an in-depth understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus!

We welcome involvement by all and if you are interested in service in the life of the church, please contact any of our staff persons and they will assist you.

OUR UMBRELLA OF CARE:

We care deeply about each person who comes to Shiloh. We want to know how to meet your needs. We have prayer groups, prayer lists, Stephen Ministers who can help you through a tough time, and staff people to help care for your needs as well.

Please let us know how we may serve you as ministers and servants of Jesus, the Lord and Savior!
