The purpose of Shiloh United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who commit to follow Him, seek to grow in their spritual lives, and use their spiritual gifts to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
The vision of Shiloh United Methodist Church is to leave a legacy of changed lives!
Our Core Values
| A.) Jesus | Faith in Jesus Christ is the way of reconciliation, forgiveness and grace. In short, salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ--not a vague, unformed, or uninformed concept of God. |
| B.) Bible | The Bible (Scripture) is the primary source for all our faith understandings and decisions and is God's revelation to us. |
| C.) Celebration | Worship is celebration for what God has done for us and is a primary door for people to begin to understand God in Jesus Christ. Forms of worship follow the function of worship and reach to the culture around us. |
| D.) Commitment | To be a disciple of Jesus is to enter a life of commitment and discipline where we take seriously the decision to follow Jesus. Membership not only has its privileges, but its costs. It is our goal to see all members of Shiloh involved in a small group and/or mentoring relationship and involved in at least one ministry. |
| E.) Service | Ephesians tells us that Jesus came and gave gifts to all (4:1-13). This means all of us have a need to be involved in ministry as a part of our Christian calling. |
| F.) Leadership | Leadership roles in the church are to focus on the mission of the church and its vision to equip the people for ministry (Acts 6:1-4). |
