Youth Ministry

Senior High Mission Trip

The purpose of mission work, beyond the obvious benefits to being in mission, is to provide a sense of sacrifice and perspective on life as well as grow relationships in the youth group. Watch for information on the 2011 Mission Trip.

Fundraising

It takes money to go on trips so fundraising becomes a part of our life together as a youth group. Participating in fundraising can have its own ministry benefits beyond the money raised. Through these events we allow the larger church to know the young people of the church as well as build relationships within the group.

Upcoming Fundraisers include…

Junior High Camping Experience

Our Jr High Youth attend camp as a group during the summer. Watch for information on 2011 Jr High Summer Camp.

Permission/Liability Release Form

This form is neccesary to have on hand for all youth functions. By keeping an up to date form on file, we will always be ready for every activity, and if there was an emergency, it would give leadership at Shiloh UMC consent to treat your child as well as up to date insurance information. Without having one, it could delay receiving medical attention as by law we must have consent by a child's legal guardian. There is information about permitting the church to use your child's image in church related materials. This document allows church leadership to be made aware of any health issues or allergies that could impact your child. If you have any questions about this document, please feel free to contact Noël so that any concerns may be addressed.

Download the Permission/Liability Form.

Please check the bulletin and read information mailed to your home for updates.
